Mitel Networks, the Canadian-based global communications company, is moving its U.S. headquarters from Chandler to Riverpoint Mesa in the Mesa Riverview development at 1146 N. Alma School Road.

The company has signed a 10-year lease for 83,264 square feet.

“The property is a great fit for Mitel’s U.S. headquarters,” said Robert Stephens, vice president of Grubb & Ellis’ Industrial Group in Phoenix. “The two-story building is currently in shell condition and will be built out to Mitel’s specifications.”

Stephens worked in tandem with Associate Vice President Kurt Saulnier and Associate Tricia Gumulka. Also, Senior Vice President Steven Morgan in Grubb & Ellis’ Atlanta office participated in the deal, representing Mitel.

The landlord, a private investor, was represented by Bryan Taute and Michael Strittmatter of CBRE in Phoenix.
